Emmet is also a Voluntary Director with Lakeland Community Care Ltd and has been since June 1994 to present. His responsibilities include; chairing monthly business meetings; networking with third party providers and suppliers and Liaising with WHSST to understand care needs.

  • Margaret Gallagher

    Vice - Chairperson

Margaret has been a director of LCC for 20 years. She originally worked in Community Development and heritage research.

She lives in a thatched cottage in Belcoo and cared for her father who was bed-bound for 17 years. This has led to her interest in the work of LCC.

  • Lucia Maguire

    Company Secretary

Lucia has enjoyed being on the LCC board of directors for the last 15 years. She has worked as a GP in Enniskillen for the past 20 years. Lucia is married with 5 children and enjoys keeping fit and active by running, cycling & karate.

  • Noel McAllister

    Director

Noel McAllister is originally from Warrenpoint and was educated at Newry Grammar School and the Open University.

He finished a 40 year career with Northern Bank in 2012 and was keen to give something back to a health service which looked after his mother in her final years.

A keen walker, he is a member of Fermanagh Ramblers, a beekeeper and is interested in brass bands locally.

Helping Lakeland Community Care to improve the health and wellbeing of older people in the west of the province is now a major driver for Noel going forward.

  • Neil W. Ferguson

    Director

Neil Ferguson has over 40 years experience as a solicitor in a private practice in Lisnaskea. For the last 10 years he has also been a director of LCC, a role he finds very rewarding.

During that time, he has seen the Charity embark upon a period of expansion, move into new premises and generally provide greater assistance for the more vulnerable members of the local community and would like to think that he has played a small part in that.

  • Louise McLaughlin-Borlace

    Director

Louise has a background in medical research, working for 5 years at the Institute of Ophthalmology in London. On moving to Fermanagh, Louise has been involved in a number of community and voluntary organisations, both at board level and as a voluntary member.

Louise has worked for several years in Fermanagh and Omagh District council community services department, in a number of roles and has been seconded for a year to the Department of Finance to help with a community based project. Louise has recently taken up post as Operations Manager for Early Years, covering the Western and Northern Trust areas.
