A FERMANAGH community organisation has received a £100,000 donation from Barclays 100x100 UK Covid-19 Community Relief Programme to deliver the ‘WEST Living Well Programme’. In April, Barclays announced a £100m community aid package to support charities that are helping people and communities most impacted by Covid-19.
£10m of this funding has been donated through irs 100x100 UK Covid-19 Community Relief Programme, with Lakeland Community Care being one of 100 UK charities each receiving a donation of £100k, allowing their important work to continue.
SWEET Project

Our SWEET team hosting information and registration evening at Lakeland Community Care, Belcoo Healthy Living Centre. The SWEET (Safe Wellbeing Eating Exercise Together) project is a Family based childhood Obesity Prevention & Management Project funded by Public Health Agency NI. This was run at the Healthy Living Centre on Thursday 11th Oct 2018.

New Healthy Living Centre state of the art facility opens in the heart of Belcoo. A NON-PROFIT taking, charitable agency, based in Belcoo, that delivers care across a catchment area that stretches from Belcoo to Teemore and Newtowbutler and from Belcoo to Garrison and Derrygonnelly opened a new, purpose built ‘healthy living centre’ this week.

Lakeland Community Care wins Power NI's Quest for £10,000

Belcoo based group Lakeland Community Care have been awarded Power NI’s energy saving champions after becoming the first of six local groups to complete Power NI’s energy saving competition, Quest.

Lakeland Community Care is a non-profit organisation that works with elderly people in Fermanagh, and, last year picked up the Fermanagh Trust sponsored Social Enterprise of the Year Award 2013 at the second annual Fermanagh Herald Business Awards.
